The human liver is an outstanding organ that filters the bloodstream from harmful substances (toxins, fats, bilirubin, overabundance of hormones, and dead cells), helps regulate and remove cholesterol; and it generates bile (a greenish liquid) which assists in digesting food to absorb essential nutrients to help give your body energy. In other words, the human liver is utterly beneficial for our survival. According to hepb.org, if your body was an automobile, your liver would be considered the engine. Our liver’s job is to make sure that everything is running smoothly.
One of the major health problems facing Hispanic American men today is Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH). This occurs when the prostate slowly enlarges and presses against the bladder and the urethra. This can cause urological symptoms such as frequency (urinating much more often than normal), urgency (having a sensation that you need to urinate immediately), nocturia (getting up multiple times during the night), and hesitancy (difficulty urinating). This condition is non-cancerous and the major culprit for such male dilemma is aging, since it tends to affect men over the age of 50.
The Latin American culture is comprised of various traditions, however people within these communities all share similar characteristics. Characteristics such as restraining feelings, relaxation concerning time and punctuality, and interdependence may bring about stress when struggling to adapt to the American way. Promptness, completing assigned tasks at work, and making ends meet to support your family are valued here in the U.S. As a result, an effort to assimilate not only brings about excessive stress in your life but may contribute to potential health risks.
So what happens when your body is consistently exposed to stress? Your hormones go haywire. A hormone known as adrenaline elevates blood pressure. Simultaneously, cortisol a stress hormone, activates and increases blood sugar (glucose) levels beyond standard limits. This long-term activation of stress overexposes your body to these particular hormones that causes a disruption in the way your body functions. These continuous disturbances place you at greater risk in developing heart disease, obesity, diabetes, depression and many other health conditions.
A nationwide prevalence study indicates that Hispanic men 40 years and older with heart disease and diabetes have been positively associated with erectile dysfunction. Luckily Natura-Genics® has a dietary supplement that accommodates to those that experience this issue. Organic Maca Powder is loaded with vitamins, minerals, amino acids that have positively been reported to aid in reproductive and sexual function. This super food is derived from a root vegetable that increases energy levels and endurance, treats depression, as well as regulates the production of stress hormones that are harmful to your health.
Sexual dysfunction is not only found in men but is common amongst women too. The relation of stress and depression may cause women to resolve their psychological struggles with antidepressants, which have been linked to decreasing sexual drive. Natura-Genics’® Organic Maca Powder is useful in this manner given that it is a sexual stimulant. Sexual benefits are not all Organic Maca Powder has to offer. Other benefits are hormonal balancing (menopause relief), endocrine and even immune system enhancement.

The traditional Hispanic diet includes various milk and milk products such as cream, cheese and butter. Are you of Hispanic American descent experiencing stomach spasms 30 minutes to 2 hours after consuming meals containing milk products? If so, than you may be one of the many individuals who are suffering from a lactase deficiency, also known as lactose intolerance.
Lactose intolerance is one of the most common food intolerances. It is the inability to digest lactose, a sugar found in cow’s milk, resulting from our body lacking the enzyme lactase. Lactase is necessary when consuming milk products for the reason that it helps with the digestion process of lactose.
Unfortunately, lactose intolerance is prevalent amongst the Hispanic American population along with Asian Americans. We are genetically more susceptible to developing this particular condition. The genetic tendency to this particular food intolerance is unknown. However, the adaptation from the traditional Hispanic diet to the standard American diet has raised some concerns.
Lactose intolerance may cause gastrointestinal symptoms that may be more severe than others. Symptoms include nausea, stomach spasms, cramping and diarrhea. To decrease these gastrointestinal problems, it would be beneficial to avoid foods containing high levels of lactose- whole milk, queso fresco, café con leche, cream cheese, and crema. Majority of people who suffer from a lactase deficiency are not required to change to a lactose-free diet.
Try lactose-free milk, or consume dairy products other than milk such as hard cheeses that are low fat or fat free. These particular foods may decrease the symptoms due to the fact that they contain lesser amounts of dairy in comparison to whole milk products. Depending on the severity of your deficiency these recommendations may or may not work for you.
You may be an individual who has modified your diet as well as ingested enzyme tablets on an everyday basis. Unfortunately, you still suffer from minor discomfort. Natura-Genics’® Lactase Enzyme will help reduce the pain and displeasure caused by an upset stomach and intestinal gas obtained from the consumption of dairy products. There are an endless amount of products that will help alleviate the pain and discomfort. Gastril™ is a product that contains activated charcoal, peppermint, spearmint, anise, fennel and ginger. This formula not only relieves an upset stomach and intestinal gas, but it is also utilized for indigestion and other digestive system complications.

According to the American Diabetes Association, cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the many leading causes of deaths amongst Latinos. Cardiovascular disease, also referred to as “heart disease”, is an abnormal heart condition that causes obstructions or irregular constrictions within the blood vessels. This particular abnormality places an individual at an increased risk for a heart attack, heart failure, stroke, atypical heart palpitations, as well as sudden death. Many people are unaware of the primary risk factors associated with diabetes. However, studies have indicated that every two out of three people who suffer from Type II diabetes die from cardiovascular disease.
Type II diabetes is the excessive amount of sugar (glucose) present within the blood, as well as the failure to properly respond to the release of insulin. Elevated glucose levels results in the destruction of the walls within the blood vessels. An accumulation of fat adheres to the cell walls within the vessels, resulting in a build up that causes a narrowing inside the blood flow pathway.
The connection between diabetes and heart disease is instantly recognizable. They both possess comparable risk factors, e.g. physical inactivity, poor diet, obesity, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. People can diminish their risk for heart disease in the course of controlling their diabetes. You can begin delaying the onset of any disease obtained from diabetes by firstly increasing regular exercise, reducing unwanted weight gain, eliminating smoking and decreasing alcohol consumption.
Natura-Genics® can help jumpstart your system on the road to recovery with the help of the Essential Fatty Acid Kit. This nutritional kits contains the most notable essential oils EPA-DHA, Omega-3 and Flaxseed oil. Collectively the oils contain emulsifying properties to help the body properly break down excess fat. These particular ingredients have the ability to convert bad fats to good fats, known as HDL (good) cholesterol. We all want more HDL present in our body for the reason that HDL plays the role of a scavenger. It hunts for LDL (bad cholesterol) by gathering the bad fats present within the blood. It transfers the fatty deposits to the liver, resulting in the deterioration of the destructive fats.
You may also want to try Magnesium Glycinate Chelate and L-Carnitine. These products help build muscle, relax muscles, and reduce blood clotting to help maintain heart health. These herbal supplements are all prepared to help assist in insulin resistance, cardiovascular health, strokes, and in the stimulation of metabolism to promote weight loss.
Cleanse your body of the fatty like substances and effectively improve your circulation today!

In America, Hispanics strive to acculturate themselves with the American ways of life. Health problems, such as stress, may be caused by individuals struggling to adapt to a new lifestyle. Studies have shown that insomnia, a sleeping disorder described as the difficulty to fall asleep and/or the struggle to remain alert during the daytime is currently prevalent amongst the Hispanic population. Research has indicated that foreigners that classify themselves as “Mexican” instead of those that identify themselves as “Mexican Americans” had a lower risk for insomnia in comparison to “Mexican Americans”. As a result, it is evident that the U.S. lifestyle can negatively affect the health and sleeping patterns amongst the Latino population.
There is short-term insomnia, which can last from one to three weeks and than there is chronic insomnia, which has a duration of more than three weeks. Chronic insomnia is correlated with many psychological issues, although in this case stress is a contributing factor.
Is the continuous tossing and turning every night becoming irritating? Are you having difficulty in the workplace trying to complete daily tasks? Is your fatigue causing you to feel irritated with yourself as well as with others during social communication? If you have answered yes, than you may be one of the many Latinos suffering from this particular sleeping disorder.
Hispanics are widely known for using alternative medicine, for instance natural herbal remedies, rather than over the counter drugs to treat their insomnia. Valerian is a medicinal herb that is commonly used in various Hispanic cultures to help treat this particular condition. Natura-Genics® offers Valerian Root, as well as Dormimax™ (natural supplements) as a substitute for the costly over the counter prescription drugs. Our products contain active ingredients within the herbs that naturally induce physical and mental relaxation to help assist your bedtime needs. Latin American cuisine demonstrates diversity because it is made up of many different cultures. Our traditional practices vary according to food preparation and techniques. However, even though our practices may differ in regards to specific cooking methods, we still manage to share common ingredients. Although the ingredients used in Hispanic American cooking are typically healthy, the preparation methods negate much of its nutritional value.
Pinto beans or black beans are common staples within Hispanic American cuisine. Many Latinos take pleasure in cooking with plenty of flavor, which particularly involves the usage of lard (fat) in addition to frying. In spite of our unhealthy full-flavored cooking methods, beans are popular within our culture given that they are reasonably priced and highly nutritious. The consumption of beans on a daily basis provides our body with an adequate amount of nutrients, protein, iron, and fiber.
Beans have many beneficial effects. Yet, I am sure we have all stumbled upon one particular disadvantage. Following the consumption of beans, have you ever felt as if your stomach has inflated and swelled similar to a balloon?
If so, than you may be experiencing gastrointestinal issues often obtained from these notorious legumes. Beans are a fiber rich food, depending on the serving size and type of bean, it can contain up to 10 grams- 15 grams of fiber. This minor discomfort may be due to the lack of fluids present in your digestive system as well as the lack of physical activity.
To avoid adverse intestinal effects, I highly advise you to get moving and increase your fluid intake. If you are still experiencing gas, abdominal cramps or other symptoms obtained from the ingestion of beans, than I would suggest that you try our Intestinal Cleanser Opti Max™. Natura-Genics® has created a dietary supplement that contains a combination of high quality herbs and fibers that are commonly used to alleviate gas, bloating and digestive disturbances.
Put a stop to the uncomfortable and embarrassing feeling and take action now. Products such as Linaza complex™, Gastril™, and Enzyme Complex™ are dietary supplements that may work synergistically with one another to help facilitate to many of your digestive needs.
Deflate the problem with our natural herbal remedies. I ensure you that you will be on your way to feeling like perfection and living in good health.
